Keep Pushing Your Purpose Forward

We all love the idea of growth.

We often pray, hope and dream about it. We ask God to open new doors, give us opportunities and help us discover our purpose.

But what I've learned is this...

Growth almost always begins with something that makes us uncomfortable.

It starts with saying yes before we feel completely ready. It starts with taking one step into the unknown and trusting that God will meet us there.

If my journey has taught me anything, it's that life isn't meant to be lived hidden in fear. I could have let fear define the rest of my life after everything I had been through. Instead, I've chosen to keep saying yes in faith. Not because I'm always confident, but because I've learned that courage grows every time we use it.

KEEP YOUR FAITH OVER YOUR FEAR!

I've realized that every season of growth in my life has begun with a first step that stretched me. Whether it was flying alone for the first time, renting a car in a city I'd never been to, walking into a room where I didn't know a single person, speaking live on television with almost no time to prepare, starting a small farm business, hosting our first Open Farm Day, getting an animal I've never had before or walking into rooms that felt far bigger than me... every one of those moments pushed me outside my comfort zone.

The truth is, every opportunity that has helped shape my life once felt intimidating.

The first time is always the hardest.

The second time gets a little easier. The third time builds confidence. Before you know it, you're doing something that once terrified you. Not because you're fearless.

Because you were courageous enough to begin.

People have asked me where confidence comes from. I think confidence is built through experience. Every time we choose courage over comfort, we grow a little stronger.

One experience, conversation and opportunity at a time. One "yes" after another.

Looking back, I can honestly say that if I had waited until I felt completely ready, I would've missed some of the greatest blessings of my life. The people I've met. The places I've traveled. The opportunities I've been given. The lessons I've learned.

None of them would've happened if I had stayed where life felt comfortable.

I am constantly reminded of this:

God doesn't call the prepared. He prepares the called.

I've watched that truth play out in my own life more times than I can count. God has never asked me to have everything figured out before taking the next step. He simply asks me to trust Him enough to take it. And somewhere along the way, He gives me exactly what I need for the next step.

I've also learned there's something powerful about simply showing up.

Get up. Put on your best outfit.

Walk into the room with confidence, even if your heart is pounding.

BREATHE. Smile.

Introduce yourself. Ask questions. Be kind.

Do your part, give it your best and trust God with the rest.

Sometimes that's all God is asking of us... to faithfully show up.

You never know who you'll meet. You never know what conversation could change your life. You never know what opportunity God is placing in front of you.

Sometimes we're so focused on our fear that we miss the blessing waiting on the other side of it.

Life has taught me that purpose isn't discovered by standing still.

It's discovered by moving forward.

One faithful step at a time.

That doesn't mean every opportunity will work out exactly as you hoped. Some won't. Some experiences will teach hard lessons. But even those moments have value because they shape who we're becoming. Every experience teaches us something if we're willing to learn from it.

And if you've fallen off track...

Try again.

If fear has been holding you back...

Push through in faith.

If you've been waiting until you feel ready...

Start now.

Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's choosing to move forward despite it.

As I look back over my own journey, I can see that the opportunities which stretched me the most became the ones that strengthened me the most. They shaped my faith, built my confidence, expanded my world and reminded me that God was preparing me long before I understood where He was going to lead me.

So whatever opportunity is in front of you today... let's go!

Take the trip. Apply for the job. Start the business. Volunteer. Use your voice.

Share your story. Walk into the room. Raise your hand. Ask boldly. Say yes.

Keep pushing your purpose forward.

You never know what God has waiting for you on the other side of your comfort zone.

If it stretches you... it just might strengthen you :)

With love,
